Today was our second day in Sevilla, which means that we go to Cadis tomorrow, which means were gonna be on the BEACH!!!!

yay!

but any way, today we got to sleep in late and then go on a 'river cruise' which consisted of one pleasant hour of floating on a spanish river similar to the Guad.  minus the lack of excitement and history (the oldest bridge we saw was built in the '60's), the boat ride was a nice rest and a good change in contrast to the daily cathedral and mosque visits. after siesta, which was an awesome tanning sesh btw, we all headed over to a tiny flamenco show/bar and we were able to watch several talented dancers and singers of all ages dance flamenco.  After the Flamenco exhibition, the group went over to our new favorite restaurant, Du Plex and it was awesome!

So all in all today was a very much needed restful day 

now were off to the beach!

Okay so today and yesterday were awesome because they were free days!

i went present shopping today and got a ton of other things done...yay!

also, today was Brandon's early birthday because his real birthday is tomorrow but we wont be able to celebrate it because we'll be traveling through Cordoba and into Sevilla!  we will be in Sevilla (seville) for three days in a real hotel with a pool :D, followed by Cadis, which is a beach town so im super excited!

I probably wont have time to post tomorrow so ill check in in about 2 days or so

Hello!

ok so sorry that i havent posted for the past couple of days but ive had so much stuff to do!

but heres the update so far:

on friday i fought a bull with a famous toreador in spain 

yesterday was a great chill day, all we did was work with our on assignment groups.  We also saw the most beautiful cathedral ive ever ever seen! it was right next door to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabellas burial sites in an awesome building, which we also saw.  

Today we all visited an equestrian center which was really cool and lierin fell in love with a horse and a 15 year old boy that she found in a barn...yay? haha

all in all this trip has so far been one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life!

cant wait till tomorrow! i promise ill tart posting more often!

Today we got to sleep in late!!The Flamenco dancers were so intense but the lighting was so funky with the mirrors that the shots i got were not that great.  but the girls were so sweet and patient with us making them pose and re-pose for the attempt of a perfect shot.

Tomorrow we all get to go to a bull arena and watch a real

 professional torredor chooses the next bull for an upcoming bull fight out of a herd of wild bulls...which is gonna be sweet!

today was so great!

we all were personally critiqued by Tino and given a ton of great advice.  Tonight we all went to Alhambra at 10:30 which was so cool to see everything at night!...but kinda freaky at the same time too. No good photos of Alhambra but new pics will be posted soon so no worries!

its like Madrid but cooler! were checkin out the city tonight and taking pictures tomorrow so y'all will get to see some of my photos from Granada soon and Madrid even sooner this week!
